Highlights

AssessGrid is software!

Methods and algorithms elaborated in the projects are put into action in software for Risk Management. The project released its first prototype in fall 2007.  The second prototype was delivered during summer 2008. Final result of the project was available in February 2009.

As it is intended for reuse in other projects, the project also provides separately the Negotiation Manager for WS-Agreement protocol.

All the source code is released as Open Source under Apache V2 license.

ECSS

ECSS - European Community for Software & Software Services – Architectures, Infrastructures, Engineering
The project 3S will support the goals of the IST Priority in developing a Joint European White Paper for R&D and Industry in the Service and Software Architectures, Infrastructures and Engineering field. The aim is to push the involvement of the EU to a competitive position worldwide by identifying strategies and technologies that will facilitate future developments and reduce fragmentation. With the creation of ECSS (European Community for Software & Software Services – Architectures, Infrastructures, Engineering) 3S establishes a platform for networking and knowledge transfer between the relevant scientific and industrial communities and for jointly pursuing the interests of the stakeholders in the field of IST.
The AssessGrid project is referenced in the ECSS directory.

Gridipedia

Gridipedia is the European repository of Grid and cloud computing resources with both abundent information on the benefits of Grid computing (check out the Grid case study collection) as well as technical analysis and useful Grid software available for download. What's more, Gridipedia can host your content - distributing the product information or research results on your behalf.

AssessGrid contributed to Gridipedia with a software component: the Negotiation Manager.

Grid 5000 / Aladdin

Grid5000 is a Grid infrastructure distributed in 9 sites around France, for research in large-scale parallel and distributed systems. Engineers ensuring the development and day to day support of the infrastructure are mostly provided by Inria, under the ADT ALADDIN-G5K initiative.

Thanks to Grid5000 management team, AssessGrid got access to G5K event logs which were used in test of Risk Assessment software.
