AssessGrid is software!

Methods and algorithms elaborated in the projects are put into action in software for Risk Management. The project released its first prototype in fall 2007.  The second prototype was delivered during summer 2008. Final result of the project was available in February 2009.

As it is intended for reuse in other projects, the project also provides separately the Negotiation Manager for WS-Agreement protocol.

All the source code is released as Open Source under Apache V2 license.

Open-source Negotiation Manager

The Negotiation Manager is a component of the AssessGrid software stack that is reponsible for negotiation of Service Level Agreements between End-users and Brokers on the one side and the Resource Management System on the other side. The Negotiation Manager implements the WS-Agreement specification.

As it is intended to be reusable by other projects, the component is licensed under the Apache 2.0 license and is available for download.

Movies Showing the AssessGrid
Developments

We have developed movies showing different scenarios for using the AssessGrid developments.

In the first scenario the end-user is negotiating directly with a Grid service provider and asks the confidence service of the broker for an objective evaluation of the provider's published probability of failure.

The second scenario shows the end-user using the broker as a mediator in order to receive offers from providers.

The third scenario highlights the update of the broker's reliability measure after an SLA violation.
